QC Inspector – Weekend Day Shift (Fri–Sun)

Job summary

Mativ is seeking a QC Inspector to support the Sustainable & Adhesive Solutions function. This role performs in-process and finished-goods inspections, records results, and ensures compliance with product specifications under supervision from Quality Engineering.

You will conduct audits, maintain calibration and lab MRO inventory, assist in training, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while following GDP and safety rules in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in QA or QC manufacturing.
• High School diploma required; bachelor's degree highly preferred.
• Familiar with basic measurements, test equipment and basic math skills.
• Medical device industry experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate and work within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform audits and testing of in-process and finished goods to ensure compliance with PRS or Tech 11.
• Record and enter test results into the Scapa ERP System.
• Coordinate shop floor QC testing based on production schedules.
• Issue non-conformance reports for nonconforming materials.
• Maintain and calibrate QC test equipment and reference standards.
• Assist in training new QA inspectors and personnel.
