Kelly Services is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician I for weekend days in Charlotte, NC. This part-time role focuses on analytical testing of raw materials and production samples in a regulated manufacturing environment.

The candidate will document results, follow SOPs, and support quality team activities while maintaining safety and quality standards. Weekend-only schedule provides flexibility for students or professionals seeking extra income.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; laboratory experience preferred.
• Ability to record and interpret laboratory data accurately.
• Proficient with basic MS Office and data entry.
• Strong detail-orientation and teamwork for compliance-focused lab work.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine quality control testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
• Accurately document test results and report out-of-spec or nonconforming results.
• Follow SOPs, testing methods, and quality system requirements.
• Assist with evaluation and disposition of materials based on results.
• Maintain retain samples, labeling, storage, and organization.
• Conduct routine equipment checks and calibration verification.
• Maintain lab cleanliness and safety compliance.
• Monitor inventory and assist with supplies.
• Support continuous improvement and other lab projects as needed.
• Assist with additional lab responsibilities as business requires.
