Job summary

Par Health is seeking a Quality Tech III to join our QC lab in North Carolina. The role analyzes process samples, finished goods, and raw materials using chemical, physical, and instrumental methods on rotating shifts, while mentoring junior technicians.

You will maintain accurate records, prepare standards and reagents, troubleshoot instruments, and prioritize workload to meet internal and external customer needs. A AS/BS in life sciences and 2–4 years in pharmaceutical QC are preferred.

Qualifications

• AS or BS in life sciences preferred; relevant experience may substitute.
• 2–4 years laboratory experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing operation.
• At least 2 years QC Lab experience with PAP/APAP Controls and Finished Lot testing.
• Working knowledge of cGMP.
• Ability to follow written procedures, record results, and perform mathematical calculations.

Responsibilities

• Performs all functions of a Quality Tech II and is trained in rotating QC Lab areas.
• Maintains accurate records of all laboratory analyses using the Mallinckrodt system.
• Prepares standards and reagents for analytical methods.
• Toubleshoots and maintains laboratory instrumentation.
• Prioritizes workload to meet internal/external customer needs for accuracy and efficiency.
• Assists with training and acts as a mentor to other technicians.
