Job summary

LaMotte Company in Chestertown, MD seeks a part-time QC/SRP Technician for weekend shifts (Sat and Sun 7:00am–3:15pm). The role tests materials, inspects finished products, and maintains documentation to ensure quality standards.

You will handle SRP reagent preparation, support SRP production coverage, and keep the lab compliant with SOPs. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; science coursework or lab experience preferred.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, or related field is a plus.
• Experience with basic laboratory tools or willingness to learn through training.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine quality checks on materials and finished products.
• Conduct pH measurements, weight checks, titrations, and basic solution testing.
• Inspect components for defects before use.
• Support testing across product lines including SRP reagents and production coverage.
• Record test results and generate COAs using templates.
• Maintain labs to be clean, organized, and audit-ready.
