Job summary

The Wesley Community in Saratoga Springs, NY is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our Rehabilitation Team for weekend per diem shifts. You will work under a licensed Physical Therapist to implement treatment plans and help residents regain independence.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a Physical Therapy Assistant approved program is required.
• New York State license to practice is required.
• Current, valid CPR/BLS credentials are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist in planning, developing and carrying out treatment programs for residents.
• Write observations of residents' behavior and progress in Progress Notes.
• Maintain statistical records and reports as requested by Physical Therapist.
• Assist with in-service training programs as requested.
