Job summary

The Bristal Assisted Living in Massapequa, NY is seeking a compassionate Resident Services Aide for a 7AM-3PM Friday and Saturday shift. You will provide hands-on care, assist residents with daily living activities, and help maintain a safe, dignified environment for our senior residents.

We value empathy, reliability, and teamwork. Previous experience with geriatric care and Alzheimer’s/dementia is a plus; English communication is required.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant, Personal Care Attendant or Home Health Aide (credentials)
• Must be able to speak and read in English
• Experience assisting those with Alzheimer's disease and dementia is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care in a respectful and dignified manner
• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
• Escort residents to meals and recreational activities
• Support residents in achieving wellbeing and safety
• Follow policies and instructions of supervisor and wellness director
