Job summary

UPMC McKeesport is seeking a full-time Staff Nurse for the 4 M General Surgery unit. The role requires 2, 12-hour shifts and is part of a Weekend Program with an additional 25% base rate for eligible weekend nurses.

The nurse will deliver comprehensive care, collaborate with multiple departments, and contribute to teaching patients and families while upholding high standards of clinical excellence and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current licensure.
• Ability to teach patients and families.
• Collaborative team player across departments.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge of adult learning principles and teaches patients and families.
