Responsibilities include:Operating automated manufacturing equipment and production machineryFeeding, sorting, stacking, and moving materials throughout the manufacturing processMonitoring product quality and identifying defectsLoading and unloading materials safely and efficientlyMaintaining clean and organized work areas through routine housekeepingFollowing standard operating procedures and safe work practicesLearning multiple production areas to support operational flexibilityCollaborating with teammates to improve safety, quality, and productivitySupporting continuous improvement initiativesFollowing all Company policies, procedures, and safety expectationsQualificationsWhat We’re Looking ForMinimum QualificationsAt least 18 years of ageHigh school diploma or equivalentTwo (2) years of experience in manufacturing, production, warehousing, distribution, agriculture, construction materials, or another industrial environmentAbility to work weekends, overtime, holidays, and additional shifts when neededAbility to safely work around moving industrial equipment and machineryAbility to work in hot, cold, dusty, and noisy industrial environments while wearing required personal protective equipmentAbility to stand, walk, climb stairs and ladders, bend, reach, and perform demanding work throughout a shiftAbility to lift up to 20 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionallyAbility to successfully complete a pre-employment assessment, physical, drug screen, and background checkPreferred QualificationsThe following experience is preferred but not required:Manufacturing or production experienceMachine operation experienceForklift operation experienceMaterial handling experienceExperience working with industrial equipmentMechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsBasic computer skillsExperience We ValueWe welcome candidates from a variety of industries, including:ManufacturingFood and beverage productionPoultry processingWarehousing and distributionBuilding materialsPackagingAgriculturePaper productsWood productsConstruction productsAutomotive manufacturingAbout Wood ProductsWe've been delivering quality building products and solutions to our customers for more than 100 years.
