LaMotte Company is seeking a Weekend Production Technician for a 3rd shift (Fri and Sat, 11 p.m. – 7:15 a.m.) in Chestertown, MD.

This part-time role offers 16 hours per week with a $2 shift differential, and pay between $17 and $19 per hour with a $2 differential bringing effective range to $17–$21 per hour. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, mechanical aptitude, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Chemistry handling experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Good judgment, decision-making and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team with overtime as needed.
• Excellent communication skills with production, R&D, QA teams.

Aufgaben

• Operates and maintains manufacturing equipment with proper training.
• Prepares reagents according to procedures and priorities.
• Maintains accurate records of machine performance and product samples.
• Assists in daily equipment setup for machines.
• Attends shift huddles and monitors production rates and quality.
• Transports product using pallet jacks and carts.
• Participates in lean activities and DMAICs to improve efficiency.
