Job summary

Baxter is seeking a Production Technician I for the Kiefel line. The role focuses on operating, monitoring, and maintaining the Kiefel machine, performing quality checks and ensuring timely delivery of products. Training is provided, and shifts offer flexibility.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 1–2 years in production/manufacturing, and basic English skills. The position emphasizes safety, quality, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years production tech/manufacturing experience preferred.
• Basic English communication skills (written and oral).
• Ability to read safety and quality instructions and work instructions.
• Basic mathematics proficiency.
• Proficient with calculator and measurement tools (calipers, snap gauges, rulers).

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and adjust a Kiefel machine using the control panel or manual adjustments.
• Load and replenish production supplies to meet production needs.
• Perform scheduled quality checks and disposition products; stop production if necessary.
• Inspect finished product to ensure quality standards.
• Document information in manufacturing logs or POMS system.
• Identify and address machine inefficiencies and improve performance.
• Test, inspect, and package IPSOs for inter-plant shipping orders.
• Notify supervisor of safety, quality, or mechanical issues.
