Baxter International Inc. is hiring a Production Technician I (Kiefel) to operate, monitor, and maintain a Kiefel machine, perform quality checks, and ensure timely production of bags. You will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with shift flexibility and safety as a priority.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, basic English, and the ability to read instructions, perform simple math, and use measurement tools. Training and teamwork are emphasized.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Basic English communication skills and reading work instructions.
• Ability to perform simple math and read measurements.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and adjust a Kiefel machine using controls on an electrical panel or manual adjustments.
• Load and replenish production supplies according to production needs.
• Perform scheduled quality checks and disposition product; stop production if needed.
• Inspect finished product and ensure quality standards are met.
• Load and secure finished product in mobile closets.
• Execute machine changeovers when assigned (material changes).
• Document information on manufacturing logs and/or POMS system.
• Identify, correct or eliminate inefficiencies in machine performance.
• Test, inspect and package Inter-Plant Shipping Orders (IPSO).
• Notify supervisor and take action for safety, quality, or equipment issues.
• Apply SOPs, cGMP and maintain a clean, 6S work area.
• Work with team to ensure adherence to safety and productivity goals.
