Job summary

Baxter International Inc. is hiring a Kiefel Production Technician I to operate and maintain a Kiefel machine, perform quality checks, and ensure on-time delivery of finished bags. The role emphasizes safety, adherence to cGMP/SOPs, and continuous process improvements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• 1–2 years production or manufacturing experience.
• Must have basic English written and oral communication.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
• Must be able to perform basic mathematics.
• Proficient with calipers, snap gauges, rulers and basic hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate and adjust a Kiefel machine via control panel (HMI).
• Load and replenish production supplies (sites, tubing, roll stock, adhesive).
• Perform quality checks and stop production if needed.
• Inspect finished product for quality standards.
• Document information on manufacturing logs and systems.
• Identify and correct inefficiencies in machine performance.
• Test, inspect and package IPSO orders.
• Notify supervisor of safety, quality, or mechanical issues.
• Follow cGMP and SOPs; sustain a clean, 6S work area.
• Maintain a safe work environment and proper tool security.
