Job summary

Marvin in Kansas City is seeking a Weekend Production Assistant Supervisor to support daily operations, lead the team, and ensure safety and quality goals are met. You will cover leadership during the supervisor's absence and help develop staff while maintaining documentation and reporting for shift activities.

Qualified candidates have 1–2 years in manufacturing, bilingual Spanish/English, and experience in coaching or team leadership.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of professional experience in manufacturing or production.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English required.
• Training in safety and quality systems (OSHA basics, Lean).
• Knowledge of leadership development or coaching practices.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Coach and train team members on processes, safety standards and best practices.
• Provide input on performance reviews and corrective actions.
• Support onboarding and cross-training to build workforce flexibility.
• Foster a positive, inclusive culture that promotes engagement and teamwork.
• Communicate operational updates to team members and Supervisor.
• Monitor daily shift activities and adjust labor allocation to meet production goals.
• Track attendance and address minor attendance issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards; report concerns and assist in investigations.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for shift activities.
• Identify and help resolve quality and productivity issues through root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with support departments to remove barriers and achieve goals.
• Promote a culture of safety and integrity by following all safety protocols.
