Job summary

Optical Cable Corporation seeks an Interlocking Armor Operator for the weekend schedule with flexibility and overtime options. You will work on ILA and large extrusion lines, ensuring correct setups, material handling, and accurate documentation.

Responsibilities include operating the rework line, printing, drying, and maintaining strong quality standards while collaborating with the production team. Prior manufacturing experience is valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1-2 years machine operating experience preferred.
• Interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills essential.
• Must complete orientation and competency validation.

Responsibilities

• Review setup sheets and codes to determine product and material needs.
• Set up and run on ILA, large extruders, strander, filler and rework lines.
• Print to cables accurately using jet and mechanical printers.
• Fill, empty and monitor material dryers.
• Operate the rework line for reworks/remakes and related tasks.
• Accurately complete all job documentation.
