Job summary

Belimo is seeking a Production Group Leader to supervise the Production Assembly Department and drive efficiency, quality, and On-Time Delivery. The role runs Friday–Sunday, 7 AM to 7 PM, supporting a busy manufacturing environment in Danbury, CT.

You will plan release, assembly, and materials consumption, lead a team of assemblers, manage budgets with the MTS Manager, and ensure safety and housekeeping standards are met. Strong ERP experience and 4+ years of supervisory experience are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher preferred.
• ERP experience required.
• Lean Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Minimum 4 years supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Proficient computer skills and ERP systems experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Strong time management and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule release, assembly, and materials for production orders.
• Organize assembler activities to meet quality standards and On-Time Delivery.
• Monitor production schedules and communicate interruptions to relevant departments.
• Reduce costs through efficiencies and continuous improvement.
• Assist in planning and controlling department budgets with MTS Manager.
• Analyze data to create labor standards for MTS products.
• Create, analyze, and present production KPI reports.
• Communicate targets and objectives with direct reports.
• Lead, motivate, and train staff to achieve goals.
• Conduct employee appraisals per HR standards.
• Assist in disciplinary actions per HR guidelines.
• Ensure safety of the work environment (HSSE/OSHA) and maintain equipment.
• Maintain inventories according to stocking policy.
• Interact with Belimo departments and external resources as needed.
• Maintain housekeeping and organization of the department.
