Job summary

Belimo in Danbury, CT is seeking a Production Group Leader to supervise the Production Assembly Department, plan releases, and manage materials to ensure on-time delivery and quality. Lead a team, monitor schedules, and drive continuous improvement within a safe, compliant environment.

The role requires an Associate degree or higher, 4+ years of supervisory manufacturing experience, Lean manufacturing skills, and ERP experience.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher preferred.
• ERP experience.
• Minimum 4 years supervisory experience.
• Background in manufacturing.
• Lean Manufacturing experience.
• Project Management experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
• Manage time constraints, deadlines, and multiple priorities.
• Self-actuated with sense of urgency.
• Detail oriented and organized.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule release, assembly, and materials consumption of production orders.
• Organize production assembler activities to promote quality and on-time delivery.
• Monitor production schedules and communicate interruptions to departments.
• Drive cost reductions through efficiencies and continuous improvement.
• Assist in planning, implementing, and controlling department budgets with MTS Manager.
• Develop labor standards for MTS products.
• Create and present production KPI reports.
• Communicate targets and objectives to direct reports.
• Lead, motivate, and train staff; conduct appraisals per HR guidelines.
• Maintain equipment, ESD, and safe working conditions.
• Maintain inventories per stocking policy.
• Interact with other Belimo departments and external resources as needed.
