Job summary

CHEP is seeking a Shift Lead to support plant leadership and manage total operations for an assigned shift. You will lead production staff, ensure safety, quality and efficiency, and drive adherence to policies. This role requires hands-on leadership and collaboration with plant administration.

Friday through Sunday 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM, with lifting up to 78 lbs and PPE requirements. Competitive pay, bonus structure, and comprehensive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as supervisor or operations lead in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong communication, delegation, shift planning and inventory control skills.
• Safety-first mindset and ability to work varied shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist with supervising the work of all production employees and monitor production schedules.
• Provide hands-on peer leadership to production staff for training and development.
• Support plant administration to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Enforce policies to drive inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Serve as subject matter expert for areas like forklift operations, pallet sorting, or repair lines.
