Job summary

RTX is seeking a Materials/Parts Scheduler for a weekend shift in North Berwick, ME. The role supports the materials team by coordinating part releases, monitoring flow, and using SAP to deliver parts to customers.

Candidates need strong communication and several years in materials or scheduling, with SAP experience preferred. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, with 6+ years in related fields; a post-secondary degree or technical certificate is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have HS diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 6 years’ experience in materials, scheduling or related experience.
• Completed post-secondary degree or technical certificate in related field with 2+ years’ experience.
• Familiarity with inventory and production control practices, tooling, drawings and specifications.
• Working knowledge of computer systems (Microsoft Office and Pratt & Whitney operating systems).
• Knowledge of CORE tools.
• Excellent attendance, self-motivated, and strong communication skills.
• SAP knowledge/experience.
• Shop Floor / Materials Flow experience preferred.
• Flexibility around shifts, overtime possible.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate part releases and monitor part flow within assigned cells with the cell leader and team.
• Use SAP screens to deliver parts to customers, including development hardware, engine hardware, spares, and RVA/TVA parts.
• Review SAP requirements to plan part flow to meet customer demands.
• Inform management of shortages and ensure the correct number of parts move to subsequent operations.
• Resolve production order and WIP discrepancies.
• Monitor part flow daily and escalate issues to meet customer demands.
• Drive closure of actions supporting BU financial, quality and delivery plans.
