Job summary

GOEBEL FIXTURE COMPANY in Georgia is seeking a weekend assembly worker to contribute to department efficiency and meet production goals. This role covers Fri–Sun 6am–6:30pm, with 12-hour shifts and paid for 40 hours.

Training will occur on weekdays for at least four weeks before transitioning to weekends. You will operate power and hand tools, assist with fabrication and assembly, and maintain a safe, quality-focused work environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience as a Laborer.
• Must pass a drug screen and background check.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must have a valid state-issued driver’s license.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe work environment with a safety first mindset.
• Follow all safety processes and procedures.
• Operate power tools and hand tools to complete assigned tasks.
• Assist with fabrication and assembly of products.
• Assemble and package drain and trench systems using a variety of hand tools.

Position overview: The weekend assembly worker will be responsible for all tasks required for department efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a safe work environment with a “safety first” mindset

• Operate power tools and hand tools to complete assigned tasks
• Assist with the fabrication and assembly of products

Assemble and package drain and trench systems using a variety of hand tools

Contribute to the overall facility production goals on a daily basis

Qualifications (for all departments):

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have at least 1 year of manufacturing experience as a Laborer
• Dependability to report to work is a must
• Must be able to read a tape measure
• Must be able to effectively use a variety of hand tools
• Must be able to read and interpret simple shop drawings
• Bilingual (English and Spanish, both oral and written) is a plus
• Must pass a drug screen and background check
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must have a valid state-issued driver’s license

• Ability to prioritize work tasks and multi-task
• Ability to withstand extreme temperatures (hot and cold) and outside elements
• Ability to stand/walk/crouch/bend frequently throughout entire shift (up to 10 hours)

• Ability and willingness to work overtime as needed
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, bilingual (English and Spanish) is preferred
