Job summary

GOEBEL FIXTURE COMPANY is seeking a Production Assembly worker to handle tasks for department efficiency. You will assemble and package drain and trench systems and contribute to daily production goals.

Responsibilities include maintaining a safe work environment, following safety procedures, and using power and hand tools to complete tasks. Reading shop drawings may be required; bilingual ability is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have at least 1 year of manufacturing experience as a Laborer.
• Dependability to report to work.
• Must be able to read a tape measure.
• Must be able to effectively use a variety of hand tools.
• Must be able to read and interpret simple shop drawings.
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus.
• Must pass a drug screen and background check.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must have a valid state-issued driver's license.

Position overview

The Production Assembly worker will be responsible for all tasks required for department efficiency.

• Assemble and package drain and trench systems using a variety of hand tools
• Contribute to the overall facility production goals on a daily basis
• Other duties as assigned

• Ability to withstand extreme temperatures (hot and cold) and outside elements
• Ability to stand/walk/crouch/bend frequently throughout entire shift (up to 10 hours)
• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly
• Ability and willingness to work overtime as needed
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, bilingual (English and Spanish) is preferred
• Must be able to form advantageous work relationships with peers, managers and plant management
