Job summary

Hillcrest Youth Services in Evansville, IN seeks a 1st Shift, Weekends, PRN Youth Worker to supervise and support residents in our residential program.

Requirements include a minimum 21 years old, HS diploma or GED; a Bachelor in Social Work or related Human Services field is preferred. Responsibilities cover discipline, safety, records, transport, and medication administration, with a focus on positive youth development.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years old and have HS diploma or GED.
• Bachelor degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology or related Human Services field preferred.
• Previous work with juveniles is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervision of residents in the residential program.
• Provide fair and constructive discipline and ensure safety and security of the facility.
• Maintain complete and accurate resident records and manage transport of residents.
• Administer medications as required and follow policy procedures.
• Screen admissions/referrals for program suitability.
• Work to be a positive role model for youth of all ages.
