Job summary

Apploi is seeking a full-time Respiratory Therapist for a Skilled Nursing facility in Goodlettsville, TN. The RT will assess patients, initiate therapies, and manage bedside treatments with a focus on geriatric care and independent evaluation.

The ideal candidate will be licensed as RRT or CRT in the state, have COARC-approved credentials, and be comfortable working with a multidisciplinary team to improve residents’ experiences.

Qualifications

• Graduate of COARC-accredited AS or BS Respiratory program.
• Licensed as RRT or CRT and state licensure.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory assessments and initiate therapies.
• Maintain patient records and documentation.
• Deliver bedside treatments and ensure equipment readiness.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and IDT meetings as required.
• Provide care for patients with tracheostomies and post‑op respiratory needs.
• Administer oxygen therapy and pulmonary rehab activities.

Schedule

• This will be your standing schedule. We are looking for a RT that can work the following schedule below consistently.
  • 4- 6 hours per shift; maybe up to 8 hours depending on caseload
  • Saturday and Sunday

Respiratory Therapist (RT)

Looking for a full time talented and motivated Respiratory Therapist to join our dynamic team. The position is within a Skilled Nursing facility. Candidate should possess passion for geriatric population, must contain a license in the state of practice, be able to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision, and posses the desire to perform functional therapeutic activities to assist residents improve in their experience.

Job Description

• Completes assessments and implements respiratory techniques to maintain and progress the rehab patients with many different Respiratory illness/diseases and non respiratory illness.
• Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate, check, and assemble equipment
• Complete a variety of bedside treatments
• Complete in-services for nursing staff every quarter
• Responsible for completing daily, weekly and monthly documentation
• Attend applicable IDT meetings
• Experience with tracheotomy
• Experience is a long term care setting
• Follow procedure and protocol of facility
• Completes tracking, auditing and caseload management
• Performs related duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

• Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program. Licensed as RRT or CRT.
• Licensed in the state in which practicing BLS certification.
