Job summary

Apploi is seeking a dependable PRN Dietary Aide/Dishwasher to support our healthcare facility’s kitchen operations on weekends. You will maintain clean dishes, sanitize work areas, and assist with basic meal preparation for patients and staff.

Responsibilities include setting up dining areas, preparing meals under supervision, delivering trays, cleaning after meals, disposing of waste, and maintaining stock and equipment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a dietary aide with culinary and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines for a hygienic kitchen.
• Ability to prepare meals per instructions using cookware and appliances.

Responsibilities

• Set up dining areas with cleanliness and order.
• Prepare meals under dietary manager guidance according to safety standards.
• Deliver dishes and trays to rooms on time.
• Clear dining areas and collect plates after meals.
• Dispose of leftovers and manage waste properly.
• Wash dishes and keep food stations and equipment clean.
• Monitor ingredient stock levels and assist with inventory.
• Support kitchen equipment upkeep and repairs as needed.
