Qualifications

• Minimum one year of NP experience; family medicine/primary care preferred.
• Active Family Nurse Practitioner license in good standing.
• Immunizations administered and vaccine counseling provided.
• DOT certification within 30 days of employment.
• BLS certification with CPR/AED.
• Spanish language proficiency a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary/family care including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, counseling, and disposition planning.
• Open/close clinic, inventory, patient follow-up, verify insurance and collect payment; maintain a clean clinic.
• Manage patient appointments and routine examinations.
• Coordinate with healthcare professionals to maintain a comprehensive plan of care.
• Encourage patient participation in health through screenings and wellness services.
