Job summary

CVS Health MinuteClinic in Cleveland, OH, seeks a part-time Family Nurse Practitioner for weekend float coverage. You will provide evidence-based primary care, including assessment, diagnosis and management within a collaborative clinical team.

This role emphasizes patient education, immunizations, and preventive care, with administrative duties such as opening/closing the clinic, patient follow-up, immunizations, counseling and coordinating with other health professionals to ensure continuity

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience as a Nurse Practitioner; Family medicine preferred.
• Active Family Nurse practitioner license in good standing.
• Provide holistic, evidence-based care including education and treatment for pregnancy prevention and STI prevention.
• Order and administer immunizations (COVID19, influenza, TB, Depo) and provide vaccine counseling.
• Minimum of two years of medically relevant experience or equivalent.
• Complete the DOT certification exam within 30 days of employment.
• Proficiency in additional languages including Spanish.
• BLS certification required including CPR and AED use.
• Pass FIT test and wear respirator when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary and family evidence-based care including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
• Perform administrative duties: opening/closing the clinic, inventory, follow-up, insurance verification, payments, cleaning.
• Manage patient appointments and routine examinations.
• Discuss healthy lifestyle, order diagnostics, coordinate with other professionals for a care plan.
• Encourage active patient participation in health screenings and chronic condition management.
