St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center in Round Rock, TX is seeking a Pre-Op/PACU Registered Nurse to provide immediate post-operative care.

You will manage airway support, monitor neurological and cardiac status, and collaborate with the surgical and anesthesia teams to keep patients stable during recovery. This role includes on-call availability for select non-business hours, weekend scheduling (Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 am – 4 pm), and access to staffing support, education, and comprehensive

Qualifikationen

• RN license required or actively pursuing licensure
• ACLS within 90 days of start date
• BLS within 30 days of start date
• NIH Stroke Scale within 90 days of start date
• PALS within 6 months of start date
• 1 year of Pre-op/PACU or Critical Care experience preferred

Aufgaben

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care using evidence-based practices
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure patient safety
• Apply nursing process, critical thinking and leadership to deliver safe care
• Assess patient condition, monitor and document changes during shifts
• Educate patients and families about medical conditions and follow-up care
