Job summary

Living-Desert-DBA-the-Living-Deser is seeking staff for catering and event support in the Palm Desert area. The role focuses on delivering exceptional guest experiences, managing event setup and breakdown, and coordinating front and back of house duties to ensure smooth operations.

Candidates should be capable of handling physical tasks, lifting up to 35 lbs, and working varied hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Previous catering or event industry experience is a plus.

• Problem solving and decision making; organized and able to stay flexible in a fast-paced environment.
• Operate all equipment necessary to perform job duties.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 35 lbs; accommodation upon request.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service to ensure a memorable experience for every guest and client.
• Oversee quality, product levels and inventory of product.
• Fulfill guest’s needs quickly and efficiently and resolve complaints effectively.
• Meet expectations of setup, execution, breakdown, and cleanup of each catered event.
• Execute back of the house, front of the house and side work duties for productivity.
• Demonstrate knowledge of menus, presentation, and food service techniques with guests in mind.
• Perform tasks as deemed necessary and uphold company policies.
