Job summary

Modern Industries, Inc. is seeking a Plating Technician for the weekend shift on-site at our Phoenix, AZ facility.

Responsibilities include processing stainless steel and aluminum parts for semiconductor and aerospace industries using plating and ensuring waste treatment and environmental compliance. This position offers a $4,000 sign-on bonus paid in two installments and a 10% weekend shift differential on base pay; qualifications include high school diploma or GED and 0–2 years in metal

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Basic nickel plating knowledge and cleaning skills.
• 0–2 years experience in metal finishing such as cleaning, anodization, plating.

Responsibilities

• Process stainless steel and aluminum parts for the Semiconductor and Aerospace industries using plating.
• Ensure waste treatment and environmental compliance using established methods of chemistry.
• Assist in equipment maintenance as required.
• Follow written and oral procedures involving the safe transfer of liquids and solids used in metal finishing.
