Job summary

PacAero is seeking a Weekend Shift Plating Technician for its Agawam, MA facility. The role involves hands-on plating operations across multiple processes, with emphasis on following established procedures, safety protocols, and quality standards.

You will support part preparation, handling, cleaning and inspection through the plating stages and work closely with the Plating team to keep production moving safely and efficiently. A background in electroplating or metal finishing is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in electroplating or metal finishing or surface treatment.
• Ability to follow detailed work instructions and safety requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform plating operations across blasting, degreasing, chem film and electroplating.
• Prepare, handle, clean and inspect parts throughout the plating process.
• Document production activities and process information accurately.
• Assist with equipment setup and routine maintenance as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
