Palmetto Subacute CareCenter in Miami is seeking a Physical Therapist (PRN) to cover weekends. The role includes evaluating referred patients and delivering rehab services with current clinical knowledge. Documentation must be accurate and timely, and supervision of Physical Therapy Assistants is expected.

Per diem weekend shifts, with emphasis on compassionate geriatric rehabilitation and collaboration with all disciplines to provide patient-centered care.

Qualificações

• Must have graduated from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant college or university.
• Must have a valid professional license and registration for state of FL.
• Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under supervision of Physical Therapist.
• Well versed with documentation writing.
• Document patient’s progress on weekly progress note in a timely fashion.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to provide best patient centered treatment and care.

Responsabilidades

• The Physical Therapist is responsible for the assessment of referred patients that require rehabilitation services.
• Provides patient treatment that meets patient needs, uses current treatment knowledge in accordance with clinical procedures.
• Writes accurate complete and clear documentation in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payor and accrediting requirements.
• Responsible for overseeing and supervising Physical Therapy Assistants.

Formação académica

Must have graduated from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant college or university.
