Job summary

Palmetto Subacute CareCenter in Miami seeks a Physical Therapist (PRN) for weekend coverage. The facility is a small 95-bed center devoted to quality, compassionate care in a home-like environment.

The PT will assess referred patients, administer treatments, document progress, and supervise Physical Therapy Assistants. FL licensure and PTA degree required; geriatric rehab experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Valid FL license/registration.
• Provide comprehensive patient treatment under PT supervision.
• Strong documentation/written progress notes.
• Experience in geriatric rehabilitation or related fields preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients requiring rehabilitation.
• Provide patient treatment meeting individual needs.
• Write accurate, complete documentation per regulations.
• Oversee and supervise Physical Therapy Assistants.
