Job summary

Boca Circle Rehabilitation Center in Boca Raton, FL is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation team on a PRN basis for weekend shifts. Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered Florida PT license.
• Strong clinical, communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Commitment to providing compassionate, resident-centered care.
• Experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement techniques to improve gait, strength, balance, mobility, and independence.
• Design, fit and train use of adaptive devices.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team on care plans.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans for optimal outcomes.
• Participate in care conferences and contribute to resident care.
• Provide guidance to support personnel and maintain professional standards.
• Educate nursing and medical staff on therapy-related techniques.
• Ensure therapy equipment is maintained and the environment is safe.
