Job summary

The Gallatin Center for Rehabilitation and Healing is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) for weekend staffing with potential for broader availability. The PT will assess patients needing rehabilitation, design and implement treatment plans, and document outcomes while educating patients and families.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited PT program and a current license. Experience with geriatric care and supervising PTAs is preferred; professional conduct and compliance with HIPAA

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Must hold a valid PT license in the state of practice.
• Overseeing and supervising Physical Therapy Assistants.
• Experience with long-term care/geriatric care preferred.
• Proficient in documentation and progress notes.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients requiring rehabilitation services.
• Provide direct patient care and determine treatment goals.
• Establish and administer treatment plans based on patient capacity.
• Document patient condition and progress; educate patients and families.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure patient-centered care.
• Uphold confidentiality, HIPAA, and professional conduct.
