Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• ASCP Registered preferred; NCA Certification preferred.
• 0-1 years related work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipunctures, including blood culture collection, and fingersticks with proper ID/labeling.
• Perform and report bleeding times according to SOP.
• Ensure adequate stocking of supplies and report needs to phlebotomy leaders.
• Transport specimens from site of collection to site of testing.
• Participate in QA, competency, mandatory training and continuing education.
