Job summary

Civita Health's Salmon Brook facility in Connecticut is hiring a Registered Nurse Supervisor to lead the nursing team and deliver high-quality care for residents. The role focuses on weekend and per diem coverage, with a strong emphasis on patient rounds, care coordination, and staff oversight.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid RN license, have at least 2 years of nursing experience (long-term care preferred), and demonstrate supervisory skills in a seniors' care setting.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license
• Minimum of 2 year of nursing experience required
• Valid CPR certification
• Long-term care or nursing home experience required
• Supervising experience required

Responsibilities

• Oversee the nursing department in the absence of the Director of Nursing (DON)
• Review staffing at the change of each shift and make adjustments to ensure all resident care needs are met
• Complete patient care rounds, ensuring high-quality care for all residents
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges smoothly and efficiently
