Qualifications

• Current NYS RN Licensure (BSN preferred but not required).
• Minimum two years of experience in Long-Term Care or medical/surgical settings.
• Minimum one year of experience in a supervisory capacity.

Responsibilities

• Identify patient service requirements by establishing rapport with patients and others.
• Complete patient care requirements by scheduling and assigning nursing staff.
• Establish a compassionate environment by providing emotional support to patients, families, and friends.
• Provide information to patients and the healthcare team and address requests.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures and regulations.
• Protect patients and employees by infection-control policy adherence and medication safety.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and secure handling of information.
• Ensure proper documentation of patient care services and audit records.
• Oversee medical and administrative equipment and coordinate repairs.
• Maintain cooperative relationships among healthcare teams through communication and teamwork.
