Job summary

Fulton Commons Care Center in the Town of Hempstead, NY seeks a Per Diem Housekeeper with experience for a skilled nursing facility. The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds and flexibility for 7a-3p shifts including weekends.

You will maintain a clean, safe environment for residents and staff, with attention to detail, teamwork, and health standards. Compensation is $24.65 per hour with competitive weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to fifty pounds.
• Ability to work as a team player and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Solid work ethic with a strong initiative for quality and customer service.
• Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Floor Tech Experience / Stripping & Waxing Experience a plus!
• Must be consistent and adhere to the schedule.
• Must be able to work in the United States.
• Must meet the requirements of the Department of Health.

Responsibilities

• Clean with a keen eye for detail, ensuring that all areas are spotless.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety throughout designated areas of the facility.
• Ensure all equipment is clean and in working condition at all times.
• Remove trash and soiled linens from rooms and common areas.
• Clean residents' personal equipment, such as wheelchairs, to ensure hygiene and safety.
