Allegro Pediatrics is seeking a Part-time Medical Assistant (MA-C or MA-R) to support pediatric patients. The role includes coordinating patient flow, preparing for exams, administering vaccines, and maintaining a compassionate clinic environment.

On-the-job training is offered with employer-sponsored MA-R licensing. The position requires commitment to a 1.5-year term, strong teamwork, and the ability to work Saturdays and Sundays with a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient rooming and flow in a fast-paced clinic.
• Support providers with procedures and anticipate clinical needs.
• Perform patient intakes including vitals and screenings; document findings.
• Administer vaccines and single-dose medications.
• Maintain exam rooms and clinic cleanliness and safety.
• Communicate with patients and families via phone and portal messages.
• Collaborate with providers, nurses, and staff to ensure quality care.
• Engage in ongoing training and quality improvement initiatives.
• Perform lab-related tasks.
