Children’s Nebraska is seeking a registered nurse to join the Behavioral Health & Wellness Center on a weekend schedule (Friday–Sunday, 7a–7p, 36 hours). A weekend incentive of $10/hr is offered.

The role focuses on care for high-risk pediatric behavioral health patients within an interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities include assessments, care planning, and delivering developmentally appropriate nursing care, while ensuring safety and accurate documentation in EPIC.

Formación

• Associate's Degree in Nursing is required or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is required.
• 2 years of psychiatric nursing experience preferred and Pediatric setting experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Functions as a member of the interdisciplinary team to care for patients with behavioral health needs.
• Utilizes the nursing process to deliver comprehensive and developmentally appropriate care to high-risk behavioral patients and families.
• Responds to behavioral emergencies and collaborates with the team to ensure patient and staff safety.
• Documents accurately in the medical record and adheres to policy including care plans and orders.
• Provides education to staff and participates in performance/quality improvement activities.
