Job summary

Children's Nebraska in Omaha, a premier pediatric healthcare center, seeks a RN to join our ambulatory care team. The role involves delivering nursing care to pediatric patients, coordinating with physicians, and educating families.

Qualifications

• RN license required in state of Nebraska or Compact State
• BLS certification required upon hire
• Minimum 1 year RN experience; pediatric experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Conducts holistic age-specific patient/family assessments per standards
• Documents nursing actions and chart audits per policy
• Collaborates with MDs and other disciplines to coordinate care
• Communicates plan of care to patient/family in understandable terms
• Ensure timely follow-up on tests, results and referrals
• Demonstrates age-appropriate nursing competencies in ambulatory care
