Job summary

SGMC Health in Georgia's Main Campus Cardiac Program seeks an experienced RN for full-time weekend day shift. You will deliver quality patient care, coordinate care with physicians and disciplines, and support the unit's goals and policies while supervising staff development.

Current Georgia RN license, CPR required, ACLS preferred; leadership and teamwork skills essential; strong communication and adaptability.

Qualifications

GA RN license required; CPR certification required; ACLS certification preferred.
Experience in nursing with leadership, supervision, or management is preferred.
Ability to work well individually and as a team leader or member.
Strong critical thinking, prioritization, and problem-solving abilities.
Clear communication with diverse patient populations and teams.

Responsibilities

Ensures the delivery of quality patient care and provides patient care through implementation of the nursing process of all age groups cared for on the unit.
Coordinates patient’s plan of care with physicians and other disciplines.
Maintains an atmosphere which supports SGMC Health mission, vision, values, policies and standards.
Assists manager in operating unit within budgetary parameters.
Supervises, manages and actively assists in staff development.
Assists manager with unit operations as assigned.
