Job summary

SGMC Health’s MED/SURG ICU unit is seeking a Registered Nurse for full-time, weekend night shift (1845-0645) at the Main Campus. You will provide patient care, perform procedures, document care, and coordinate plans with physicians and other disciplines.

Ideal candidates hold an RN license in Georgia with CPR certification and at least one year of related experience. You should work well independently and as part of a team, adapt to changing situations, and communicate clearly with diverse

Qualifications

• Current RN License in Georgia; CPR required.
• One (1) year experience in related specialty area preferred.
• Ability to work well individually and as a team member or leader.
• Demonstrated ability to assess, adapt to new situations and think critically.
• Ability to read and interpret policies and apply clinical standards.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care through assessment and implementation of the nursing process for all age groups on the unit.
• Performs and assists with procedures.
• Documents care provided.
• Coordinates patient’s plan of care with physicians and other disciplines.
• Maintains and supports SGMC Health’s mission, vision, values, and standards.
