Job summary

BHC Alhambra Hospital in Rosemead, California, a 115-bed facility, is seeking a Patient Transportation Specialist to transport patients to and from the facility while modeling positive social interaction and maintaining safety.

This weekend per diem role offers the chance to work Saturdays and cover when needed, with no experience required as we train all staff to deliver the best service possible.

Qualifications

• High school graduate, or equivalent.
• Possesses and maintains a valid Class B driver's license.
• Must be 21 years or older and have a good driving record as obtained from the Department of Public Safety.
• May be required to work occasional overtime and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide encouragement and support to patients in order to help patients meet their outpatient treatment plan goals and objectives.
• Provide a positive experience for patients at all times
• Provide a transportation experience which treats all patients with respect and dignity at all times and is encouraging and supportive of the patient.
• Greet each patient(s) at the van door and opens the van door for each patient assisting the patient into and out of the van as indicated.
