Job summary

City of Pflugerville is seeking a part-time Parks Maintenance worker to support the park system. You will perform groundskeeping, repairs, and maintenance tasks under supervision and in accordance with city policies.

The role requires physical work, weekend shifts, a valid Texas driver’s license, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Prior experience is not required; training is provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Relatable Work Experience: None required.
• Valid Class C Texas driver’s license with good driving record.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Construct and maintain City park grounds and related facilities.
• Repair and maintain park buildings, benches, and equipment.
• Respond to park patron inquiries and enforce park rules.
• Maintain tools and equipment; report unsafe conditions.
• May be assigned to other departments as needed.
• Perform rounds of park facilities and support special events.
• Part-Time weekend work schedule.
