Job summary

City of Pflugerville is seeking a Part-Time Parks Maintenance worker to perform routine groundskeeping, facility upkeep, and safety inspections across city parks. The role includes mowing, trash pickup, restroom checks, and general outdoor maintenance.

Responsibilities extend to repairing park structures, minor plumbing and painting, operating light equipment, and responding to patron inquiries. Weekend shifts and adherence to safety rules are required.

Qualifications

• Formal education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to operate and maintain city equipment and tools safely.
• Experience with basic computer software and record-keeping preferred.

Responsibilities

• Construct and maintain park grounds and clean assigned reservation areas.
• Repair and maintain park buildings and equipment; minor plumbing, painting, sandblasting, light welding, replacing bulbs, etc.
