Job summary

HCA Healthcare Trident Hospital in Bluffton, SC is seeking a PACU Registered Nurse to provide immediate post-operative care and patient education. You will monitor airway, neurological and cardiac status, respond to complications, and collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS and PALS certifications required within 90 days of start date.
• RN license must be active at start date.
• Associate degree in nursing or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in PACU post-anesthesia recovery.
• Monitor airway, neuro and cardiac status; respond to complications promptly.
• Provide initial wound care and document patient condition and care.
• Educate patients and families about condition, treatment and follow-up.
