Job summary

The Marzetti Company is seeking a packaging operator for the 2nd shift at its Horse Cave, KY plant. You will operate the filler on an assigned line, verify product sealing and packaging, and help move supplies through the production process.

The weekend schedule (Friday–Sunday, 5:00pm–5:00am) features a climate-controlled facility and pay of $23.84 per hour, with opportunities to contribute to safety, quality and efficiency on the packaging team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in manufacturing with repetitive work preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and math skills are helpful.
• Ability to read and interpret directions in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Operates the filler of an assigned line and ensures proper sealing and packaging.
• Assists in pulling supplies and loading filler throughout production.
• Rotates across lines within the department to support continuous operation.
• Maintains safety, quality, and productivity standards during packaging duties.
