Job summary

The Marzetti Company in Kentucky is seeking a Stand-Up Forklift Operator for the 2nd shift (Friday - Sunday). You will receive, store, and move raw materials, packaging, and finished goods using powered industrial trucks in a climate‑controlled facility, ensuring accuracy and quality for perishable inventory.

Responsibilities include unloading materials, labeling, preparing pallets, rotating stock, and supporting production by supplying areas with needed materials.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain industrial truck certification and operate lift equipment safely.
• Effective verbal and written communication with team members, management, and vendors.
• Basic math skills and working knowledge of inventory systems.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience operating hi-lo/stand-up forklifts in manufacturing.
• Ability to follow written or verbal directions in a fast-paced environment.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Receives, ships, transfers and stores materials using powered industrial trucks.
• Unloads inbound materials and inspects containers for damage.
• Stores bulk items in designated areas and rotates stock as needed.
• Labels materials, ensures accuracy, and inventories using computer systems.
• Prepares finished pallets for shipping and seals trailers after loading.
• Trains new and current employees on procedures and duties.
• Fills in for other warehouse staff when necessary.
