Job summary

Marzetti Company is seeking a Stand-Up Forklift Operator on the 2nd shift—Monday through Thursday—in our climate-controlled Kentucky facility. You will receive, ship, transfer and store raw materials and finished products, ensuring perishable items remain high quality and inventories stay accurate.

The role requires forklift certification, 1–2 years of experience, and a HS diploma or GED. You will work with material handling systems and contribute to a safe production environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain industrial truck certification and operate lift equipment safely.
• Strong verbal and written communication with team members, management, customers, and vendors.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of computer and inventory scanning systems.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience operating hi-lo/stand-up forklift in a manufacturing facility.
• Ability to read and interpret direction while working safely in a fast-paced environment.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and verify inbound raw materials and finished products.
• Replenish packaging and raw materials to production areas as needed.
• Store bulk items safely and accurately in designated areas.
• Wrap and prepare finished pallets for shipping and load onto trucks.
• Rotate materials and ensure proper labeling and inventory in the system.
• Train new and current employees on proper procedures for the position.
