Job summary

True Manufacturing is seeking a Security Officer to safeguard facilities, visitors, and employees during weekend overnight hours. You will monitor the front desk, issue badges, respond to alarms, and coordinate with staff to maintain a safe environment.

The role requires on-site presence and basic MS Office skills. Prior security or military experience is a plus, and First Aid/CPR/AED certification is welcomed. Equal opportunity employer with a background check upon hire.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Six or more months of related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service driven and focused.
• Must be able to work with confidential and sensitive information.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Must be able to multitask and handle emergency situations alone.
• Previous experience with alarm systems and closed-circuit TV is a plus but not required.
• Must be available for overtime on short notice (weekends and holidays).
• First Aid, CPR and AED trained or willing to perform first aid when needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the front desk, greet and sign in guests, and notify as needed.
• Create and issue guest, temporary, and contractor badges.
• Answer questions about the department’s services or security policy; follow up as needed.
• Monitor alarms, secure buildings, and respond to alarm calls.
• Assist team members and coordinate with office management on security issues.
• Review surveillance video from cameras.
• Provide basic vehicle assistance (jump starts, tire changes, de-icing locks).
• Perform foot and vehicle patrols of the facility and grounds.
• Maintain on-site presence and attend scheduled meetings and discussions.
• Collaborate with leadership to support innovation and operational effectiveness.
